New construction of the production building and creation of infrastructure
SIA KRAUJAS Z" operational program "Growth and employment" of the 3.1.1. specific support objective "Promote the creation and development of MVK, especially in the processing industry and RIS3 priority sectors of the measure 3.1.1.5; Support for investments in the creation or reconstruction of production facilities and infrastructure within the scope of the call, in the period from January 2017 to July 2018, it has implemented the project with identification No. 3.1.1.5/16/A/026. New construction of a production building and creation of infrastructure for the start of woodworking in Lizum parish, Gulbene district", building new technologically intensive wood processing plant.
The total costs of the project reach EUR 633,613, from which co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of EUR 285,126 was received. In the built production facility, it is planned to create a production plant for tare boards (preparations), which will process both the roundwood and tare blocks resources available in the company s warehouses and felling sites, as well as the roundwood and tare blocks purchased from private forest owners and other felling developers.
The implementation of the project will allow the company to use the owned forest resources more efficiently, processing the wood obtained after logging into further production and creating additional added value.
